Animal Kingdom
PLAYING CARDS DESIGN
As someone who loves to play card games and also find card design fascinating, I decided to create my own game. This project was a great way to try out a geometric illustration style as well as teach others about interesting animal facts. Each suit is dedicated to a specific animal type (hearts - mammals, spades - fish, diamonds - birds, clubs - reptiles/amphibians, jokers - spiders/insects). Each card includes a unique fact about an animal in its respective category.
LEGO
UNO CARDS DESIGN
This project started as a gift for my nephew but turned into something much larger. He loves the card game UNO as well as building LEGO sets, so I thought he would love the combination of the two. While designing the mini-figures, I was able to try a more expressive illustration style. Look closely and you’ll see each character has a different facial expression. When the project was completed, I had designed and illustrated over 100 cards.
